Award winning public park . Well kept and well used. In the summer months there is a boating pond, putting green, bowling green and a model railway big enough even for adults to ride on. The railway is manned and maintained by a group of volunteers. There are the usual swings roundabouts etc for children ,plus a small open air gymnasium. In the summer months snacks, drinks etc are available in the Barrie Shelter, which overlooks the bowling green.
Great for the kids, plenty to do good walks for the adults, plenty of parking space.

Lovely park in the fine town of strathavon. Railway not On, but looks loads of fun when it is. Great swings and fantastic trees. Excellent benches too. Highly recommended.
Lovely park to visit with lots of things to do. The Model Railway was not only a nice surprise for us but wonderfull highlight with our Grandson. All the greens are well maintained and dog poo free so playing football is achievable without clearing the pitch first.
