Mechanics and all staff brilliant very knowledgeable and polite
I bought a year old Ford Focus from Arnold Clarks Strathaven branch having only seen the website description and photos, so I just wanted to share my experience. The Strathaven branch staff provided any details I asked about, plus a video walk around (paying particular attention to any areas Id specified) following which, the car was moved to a more local branch - Chesterfield (for a fee) so that I could view before buying. The whole process was both simple and straightforward and the staff at both branches were an absolute pleasure to deal with - in particular Ashleigh at Chesterfield and Peter at Strathaven. David Thompson, the general sales manager at Chesterfield even came over and introduced himself and thanked me for using this relatively new service, being genuinely interested to hear how Id found it. In summary, were very happy with our new car and with the overall customer service provided by Arnold Clark.

I bought a second hand car from this place in April. It had no drivers handbook, it still has no drivers handbook. I was told not to worry as they would order one from the manufacturer. It is now September and whenever I have enquired about the missing handbook I have been fobbed off with excuses such as 'hmmm that's unusual, I'll chase it up' ....' it's the manufacturers fault'....'you still don't have it? Let me get back to you'...' I see on our system it was ordered in late April, it shouldn't be too long' ....' ill get the girls in admin to chase it up'...What a PATHETIC after sales service, these people don't care about their customers after you buy one of their cars. These people only care about their commission and trying to force their very expensive service package on to you.Stay away from Arnold Clark. Especially the one on Strathaven.
